The Old Harbor Village Flexible Fund will help us cover costs to bring Old Harbor Village to life!
The generous donation will bring our building into terrific shape to show off to our visitors. But much more remains to be done before we open to the public. For the Cooperage, we will be buying period equipment from the various industries that once called the Cooperage home. We will need to develop graphic arts and videos to make our history come alive. Your donation can make all these thing happen!
You can choose to make a one-time donation, or sign up for monthly contributions. All donors will be acknowledged at the opening ceremony, but donors reaching the levels listed below will be permanently honored on plaques.

Give to the Permanent Endowment
The Old Harbor Village Permanent Endowment will make sure Old Harbor Village runs smoothly and successfully for decades after the doors open!
The primary goal of the permanent endowment is to support the salary of a full time employee. Fulfilling the vision of making Old Harbor Village a true destination will require more than just volunteer effort – it will need a committed, talented full time employee. The more our endowment ensures financial stability, the more qualified a person we will be able.
The endowment will be managed by the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts. Your gift is guaranteed to last forever, because the only the money generated is given the Townsend Historical Society, and the principle can never be withdrawn.
You can choose to make a one-time donation, or sign up for monthly or yearly contributions with a set end date. This set end date allows you to decide exactly how much you want to give in total. All donors will be acknowledged at the opening ceremony, but donors reaching the levels listed below will be permanently honored on plaques.
